Hall's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

20-year old American forward Tay Hall (197-F-2003) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Immortals de Cibao and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Mambas (#3, 3-1) with 22-point margin 97-75. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Immortals maintains the 4th position in Dominican Rep. league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Immortals will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Hall as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Gulf Coast State College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hall is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.8rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Khalil Small (190-G-1995). He is American guard in his first season at Immortals. In the last game Small recorded impressive 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Immortals de Cibao cruised to a 79-70 relatively comfortable win over Fenix (1-4). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Small is a newcomer at Immortals and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 8.8rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Victor Torres (189-SG-1995) of Zona Norte Mambas RD (#3). Torres got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . Despite Torres' great performance Mambas lost 75-97 to #4 ranked Immortals. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Mambas needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Torres has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.0ppg (3rd best).
